Artistscientist and evolutionary systems designer

Presently developing a network of InnovaLabs and Fab Labs worldwide. Member of the work group at DenokInn: The Basque Centre for Business and Social Innovation. Present projects include the Social Innovation Park, HIRIKO: The electric car and LifePark.

Pioneer prototyping specialist in the development of the first commercial head-mounted display in the virtual environments industry at LEEP Lab Systems in Boston. Contracted with Small Business Industrial Research (SBIR) to co-develop various inventions with NASA?s Ames Research Center and NASA?s Langley Research Center.

Projects and research presented in U.S., Vietnam, Austria, Mexico, India, Ghana, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, Japan, Australia and Monaco.

In 2005 Rivera received his doctoral degree from the School of Consciousness and Transformation at the California Institute of Integral Studies. His dissertation explored how artscience, in a social computing context, presents transdisciplinary ways of knowing to transform organizational culture. Additional academic work includes the MIT Media Lab, Harvard University, Antioch University, Goddard College and Pratt Institute.

  1. Me parece una actividad estupenda para mejorar la destreza oral.

    Me gustaría, y creo que así debería de ser, socializar ésta actividad. Quiero decir, sacarle de la “élite”.
    Al mismo tiempo me parece un marco adecuado para desarrollarlo también en euskara.
